Hello,
my name is Diane M Gillaspy (Miller). I would like to share with you some information
about who I am and where I am going in life.
I
was born to Oscar and Irene Miller in Coeur
d’Alene, Idaho.
We actually lived in Post Falls,
Idaho where I attended
school. I am the youngest of five.
Attending
the Falls Full
Gospel Church
in Post Falls, I grew up loving
Southern/Country Gospel Music. It seemed back then that everyone went to
church and that was the style of music we listened to. I loved church and
mostly Mr. Pixler because he use
to always have candy for us!
I
have lived in many places and worked many jobs, from washing dishes,
working at a sewing factory, assembly line work, travel
agent work to working at the Gold Mines in Elko, Nevada.
I have always loved singing and we are now retired so I have plenty of time
to follow my dream and write and sing. I have picked up playing guitar and
things are moving along quite nicely.
In
the last 2 years, I have attended events such as the 5th Annual Music City
Showcase in Pigeon Forge, TN, was on the Ron Campbell Gospel Hour Show in
Nashville, TN, been on live radio in Granite Falls, North Carolina and so
much more. God has been good and the doors are opening for me.
I
am a kidney cancer survivor now 11 years. I lost my mother to Kidney Cancer
in 1997 and was diagnosed 11 months after her death (I prefer to call it
her Eternal Birthday and entrance to heaven!).
I
love living in the South eting all the wonderful brother’rothers and sisters we are meeting at all
the different places I am being invited to come sing. It
looks like we have a bright future ahead of us as long as the doors are
opening I will walk in! God is Good.
